August: Osage County Trailer

Back in March we tipped August: Osage County as a potential Oscar contender next year and with the arrival of the trailer, that assessment still seems pretty accurate. Based on a play by Tracy Letts (Bug, Killer Joe) who also adapts it for the screen, the film stars Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Abigail Breslin, Juliette Lewis, Ewan McGregor, Benedict Cumberbatch and a host of other names as a dysfunctional family all brought back together by family crisis.

Directed by John Wells, who won numerous Emmys for his work on The West Wing and ER, the film looks to have another irresistable performance from Streep and retains the darky comedy of Letts' play. The film is set for a November release, check out the trailer below...
